PYRITE

Commonly known as "Fools Gold", pyrite is a brass-yellow, metallic crystal structure that resembles gold. Although it is pretty, it cannot be used in jewelry as it crumbles and turns to powder. Pyrite means "fire" in Greek. It is found in Mexico, Peru and the United States.
