TURQUOISE

Turquoise is a copper aluminum phosphate mineral. It is used primarily in the making of jewelry. Indians of the southwest are well known for their silver and turquoise jewelry. Good quality turquoise is fairly rare and expensive. The best turquoise comes from New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada.
