Phosphosiderite - A beautiful mauve/lilac colored material from Chile.  It is a natural mineral and the only treatment is stabilizing it.  It is a fairly soft, porous stone so it is stabilized to make it durable and colorfast.  I have a copy of GIA's Identification report dated July 12, 2004. Conclusion: Phosphosiderite.
